Secure fixture

Step 5:

Secure the fixture in place. Some models use a number of small clips, others use a clamp that rotates downwards. Either way, ensure that the fixture is secure.

Attach trim

Step 6:

Secure the trim ring and baffle or reflector (if used) to the fixture. Almost all of the models use a small spring clip that slides into a slot in the fixture to secure the trim ring. Needle-nose pliers are the easiest way to secure this clip.
